It has been another busy year for our fundraising team assisted generously by many of our volunteers and trustees..

Once again sales of Christmas cards and wreaths, courtesy of Carolanne Bowyer and Elizabeth Snowden respectively, raised a substantial amount.

In June we held a Garden Party at Alex, our Chair's home. The weather was kind to us and the guests enjoyed walking around the lovely garden before the party began with magic tricks, a quiz and an interesting talk by Alan Hiscox on his days as Chief Equitation Officer in the Metropolitan Mounted Police Thank you to all that supported us and the sponsors of the evening - JM Finn and Merityre.

On September 4th our charity Golf day was held at Tidworth Garrison Golf Club, sponsored by Hysons and brilliantly organised by Mike Strong, assisted by Phillip Antrobus, Mark Hyson and the fundraising team. A wet start to the day but that didn't dampen any spirits and by mid morning the sun shone and 20 teams enjoyed great rounds followed by lunch, two raffles, (one prize being a whole barrow of wine!) and an auction. Many thanks to the sponsors, donors, teams and volunteers.
